Apollononas is coastal village in the homonym bight of NA of Naxos. In this bight are found ancient quarries . Also on the western elevation and near in the village is found ancient colossal statue of kouros in supine place. Today Apollonas has developed in
a tourist resort with a lot of coastal taverns and cafes. The homonym bight is enough wide for water sport and provides safety mainly in southern and south-western winds.
