It was first established in 1995 at the restored two-storey house in Ano Syra, in order for the life and work of the great rebetis from Syros, Markos Vamvakaris to be widely known. Friends of the Fragkosyriani’ s singer have the opportunity to see personal belongings of the famous composer as well as plenty of photographs, clothes, pairs of shoes (Markos Vamvakaris owned 50 pairs of shoes!), manuscripts, his id, ring, watch and personal tools.
Opening hours: Every day 11:00 – 14:00 & 19:00 – 22:00, from 1/6 till 30/9.
